The Operator

Location: Sierra 1 Site, Heber, AZ

The Operator is an immersive, performance-driven training course designed to refine decision-making, teamwork, and execution in complex and dynamic environments. This course focuses on bridging the gap between flat-range proficiency and real-world application through deliberate and scenario-based training.

Students will train across multiple environments, including our newly built 2 story shoot-house, flat ranges and tactical training areas to develop adaptable skills applicable to both individual and small-unit operations. Emphasis is placed on movement, medical readiness, communication, problem-solving, and accountability under stress.

A significant portion of the course is conducted during low-light and limited-visibility conditions, including training into the night hours. Although night vision devices are not required, students are welcome to bring night vision devices to apply to different training scenarios.   During night operations, students will be conducting training with their weapon flashlight systems to gain practical experience operating effectively without reliance on advanced equipment.

With the majority of training being conducted during night hours, this will be a suppressor only course.  Students will be required to have suppressor systems on their AR platform rifles but not on their side arm.  Weapon systems will also require flashlight and rifle laser system is encouraged but not required. 

Training blocks include:

-Low-light engagements and target discrimination

-Force-on-force scenarios emphasizing decision-making and consequence

-Small unit tactics and team-based problem solving

-Live-fire exercises in controlled, multi-directional environments

-Simulated medical readiness scenarios

The Operator is designed for professionals seeking realistic training that challenges both technical skill and mental resilience. The course prioritizes safety, realism, and performance while providing students with the opportunity to pressure-test fundamentals, identify gaps, and elevate their overall operational capability.

AR platform type weapon system with side arm and duty holster. (No IWB holsters)
