Precision II is designed for shooters who already have a solid understanding of their rifle system, optic, zero, and basic ballistic data and are ready to move into more advanced precision rifle applications.
Conducted at Sierra 1 Site, our private 100+ acre training facility outside Heber, Arizona, this two-day course moves beyond the fundamentals and places greater emphasis on wind reading, high-angle engagements, tripod utilization, extended distances, positional problem solving, and applying ballistic data in changing terrain and environmental conditions.
Students will receive hands-on instruction from experienced Special Operations and AZPOST/NTOA-certified SWAT sniper instructors while working through multiple precision rifle lanes across the facility. Each training area presents different challenges involving distance, elevation, terrain, shooting position, and environmental conditions.
Precision II is focused on helping students become more confident in making corrections, reading conditions, and solving increasingly difficult long-range shooting problems with less reliance on instructor input.
Training includes:
- Advanced wind reading and wind-call refinement
- Tripod utilization
- High-angle shooting principles
- Extended-distance engagements
- Ballistic computer and data application
- Non-standard positional shooting
- Unknown-distance engagements
- Refined shooter/spotter communication
Students should arrive with a properly zeroed rifle, reliable ammunition, established ballistic data, and a working knowledge of basic precision rifle fundamentals.

Round Count: 350–400 rounds (.308 or 6.5 Creedmoor)
Rifle Type: Bolt-action or semi-automatic precision rifles permitted
Lodging: Free on-site camping is available with plenty of room for tents, vehicles, and mid-size trailers. Bring your own dinner and drinks, and join instructors and fellow students around the campfire after training.
